"Bell"
|
"Bell" DOB March 21, 1992 May 2000: Owner give up. Professionally trained for show (field trial, obedience and bench) raised with kids and various other pets, this lovely black female entered almost 30 pounds overweight! Surgery was needed to remove benign polyps on her eyelids and gums but surgery had to wait until she achieved a healthier weight. After several months on a special diet, a rejuvenated 78 lb. Bell underwent successful surgery Sept. 13th and after a wonderful rehab she is ready to go home. She is house trained, healthy, mellow and good spirited, loves to play and cuddle - an all around great Lab! Getting these two pix have proven difficult as Bell prefers to stick close by your side like glue, and she is so MUCH prettier than a photo can depict (right photo: Bell & Pipsqueak represent LILRR at the Long Island Pet Expo 2001). |
Among one of the most pleasurable Labs we've had opportunity to rescue ...
Bell was adopted March 30, 2002
and renamed "Belle" (she IS a belle!!)
