dear santa,

                    all i want for christmas is a forever family...

'Dakota'

Raised for 12 yrs. by family who recently dumped her into a kill shelter when they moved to a new home.  Dakota is house broken, gentle, sweet & affectionate, visibly healthy (ears were a little dirty), great on leash and loves long walks.  She is a pretty Lab but will look much nicer with a little more brushing.  Life spans are not engraved in stone and (thank doG) we cannot usually predict when or what will take them from us.  Dakota may have another 7 or more years, maybe not ... whatever doG's plans, now was NOT the time for her to die.  She does not show signs of pain from arthritis or geriatrics and has a lovely unobtrusive behavior of a genteel Lady that makes for a very pleasing companion.

soon getting a loving forever home.
