Dylan and Cocoa were purchased for breeding and lived in pens behind a machine shop until their owner purchased a weekend home and no one was available or cared enough to go to the business (closed on weekends) to feed or water them.  After having one litter, they were going to be dumped into a kill shelter if LILRR would not accept them into our program.  Entering coated with thick machine oil, their coats and skin were NASTY (entry pix will be added soon) but, with soothing medicated baths and daily grooming, are polishing up like the jewels they are!  Both Labs were socialized with employees out of pens during work hours and both Labs are incredibly sweet and loving.  Neutered, up to date on vaccinations and worming, he was easy to house break.  He enjoys being with other Labs and has very nice house manners.   Dylan is (in general) a mellow, sweetheart - good with people and other pets.
