Do you require me take the Lab to obedience school?

We strongly recommend obedience training.  Even if the Lab was obedience trained by prior owner, you were not involved and are alien to the dog's signals and understanding.  Entering yourself and the new dog in obedience classes develops mutual comprehension and respect and hastens the bonding process.
