Rescued May 1995
Animal Control thought they were picking up a dead dog from the ditch -
the Lab had been hit by a vehicle and lay dying from head and eye injuries.
Taken to the animal shelter and not claimed by owner, he would be put to sleep
if LILRR didn't rescue him. Rescued by LILRR, the adorable and gentle
male recovered but was left with a detached lens (surgeons will reattach the lens
when it floats forward). Lovingly adopted, Hampton shares life with his
forever family consisting of several ferret siblings
and has many pals such as his buddies the Pugs.
