"Mickey"
Rescued June 2004

|
" Mickey" DOB est. June 2002 - Black Male - 70 lb Picked up stray by Animal Control, taken to kill shelter and not claimed by family or adopted. Rescued in June, vets estimate he was less than 2 years of age. Mickey suffered life-threatening lower respiratory infection and required weeks of vet isolation and life-saving antibiotics. Now very healthy, this lovely average size male is housebroken and well mannered, very affectionate and very friendly with other Labs and humans. Mickey enjoys walks, cuddling on the sofa, belly rubs, chasing birds and rabbits and can scale 4 ft fence; for safety, he will require 6' or Invisible Fencing (tm). Accustomed to a doggie-door, Mickey is first to dash back inside after play and walks --- he much prefers relaxing with family indoors over play without a human. This jewel will surely make some lucky family very happy. |
