"Nala" June 2005 - LILRR foster
Going on 10 yrs of age... After 9+ years with family, this adorable gal was kicked out when baby started walking because "our apartment is too tiny for Nala and baby to walk around in". Family was unable to secure a new home for her and, purchased as pup from a private breeder who does not provide post-sale assistance to prevent their own lines from winding up homeless or other jeopardy, Nala entered LILRR foster ...
A sudden relocation and loss of all things and people familiar is naturally stressful - more especially, so late in life. But Nala began to relax and take great pleasure in long, leisure walks with her new Lab friends!
Although she needs to lose a few pounds, she is surprisingly fast in the short-distance dash! That's her on the right ...
Nala is adopted... |
