"Otter"

Too sick to be adopted from kill shelter, LILRR saved his life...
Shelter said he was picked up by animal control one too many times -
owner refused to reclaim him this time.
The pup's kennel cough had developed to more serious respiratory
infection and he would be put to sleep if LILRR could not help.
Due to his rapidly failing condition and highly contagious illness,
Otter spent 18 days of treatment within vet intensive care and isolation
before being healthy enough to enter an LILRR foster home.
Otter is neutered, house broken, healthy, great with other dogs and people.
Very affectionate and intelligent, he is still in the age of explorative chewing,
he needs someone able and willing to continue formative training
and will require being crated when not closely supervised by an adult.
Lab friends went to Lab Camp but while Otter could not
attend, he wrote a special song for them:
