Suffolk Virginia Lab, "Susie-Q"
DOB est May 2002 This adorable black female was nicknamed Susie-Q during foster with Daddy Love Dog Obedience & Agility, East Hampton. Crate trained, she happily lives and plays with Labs and a number of other dog breeds (check out pint-size Susie during a play date with larger, leggy "Buddy"). Susie-Q is petite, heartworm negative, spayed, inoculated, chipped and healthy. Same as the others, she is skittish and initially shy around strangers and new experiences. She loves being brushed, getting belly rubs and being talked to. She likes dog toys, retrieving balls and has a fascination for birds and gleefully chases barn swallows. Once she becomes familiar with people and environment, she eagerly follows humans from room to room and taking leash walks around the neighborhood. February 2004 Susie-Q is adopted ...

Suffolk Virginia Lab, "Catch" - click on link for VA rescue story -
DOB - January 2002 'Catch', one of four most excruciatingly shy Va. Labs. When a human entered the area, these Labs would run into a crate and huddle shivering in back corner, not because they were beat or mishandled by a human, but because they were NOT handled by a human prior to LILRR rescue. Same as the other Va. Labs, they desperately want to be loved by people and, with growing confidence, are emerging into gentle and affectionate sweethearts. October 2004 Catch is adopted by SusieQ & family...
