If you do not reside in the NYC, lower Westchester or Long Island vicinities, you can seek adoption through a Rescue or Shelter closer to your area. Check the following websites for Rescues in your area:

The first step to adopt
one of our rescued Labs is to
review and understand
rescue and adoption procedures.
LILRR will not place Labs as surprises or gifts, and will not consider second party applications
If you seek an application for someone else, print the ENTIRE Adoption Information pages for their review, consideration and completion
If you plan to relocate or have scheduled a vacation or business trip in the near future, postpone pursuing adoption until your schedule returns to normal
Annual Policy: adoption/placement of rescued Labs will not occur between December 15th and January 12th
