Rescued from area kill shelter 1995 - had been abandoned
end of the summer at a local pool where he was fed for more than 3 weeks
before being taken off the risky and lessening friendly streets.
Estimated to be 10-12 years old at time, he entered with gaping infected
hole size of a half dollar in his neck.
No one would adopt this Lab, so he shared the last best
years with someone that will never forget this loving grandpa.
One day, we'll be together.

Rescued from kill shelter 1992
Burt succumbed to cancer May 30, 2000.
This loveable boy spent the best eight years sharing love and joy with his
forever family, leaving paw prints of special memories with everyone.

Rescued from municipal shelter, Cherokee was losing her
eyesight due to developing cataracts in both eyes. Extensive fund raising efforts to acquire cataract surgeries
quelled when a suspect fatty cyst, diagnosed as
mass cell cancer, invaded vital organs.
Rest, sweet child - enjoy the eternal sunshine.

and soon diagnosed with congenital dual kidney dysplasia.

King Arthur

This dear old grandpa was being dodged by traffic on a 4 lane highway when animal control helped him to safety. Completely blind, extremely arthritic and suffering severe skin disease, he was not claimed by owner or adopted. King enjoyed a year of devoted attention and relaxation before succumbing to kidney failure.
The pleasure of his company and gentle nature is forever treasured.
